After working at club level with Mercantile i saw a massive gap in the physical preparation of rowers. High training loads on the water accompanied by circuits for "strength" simply don't work. Don't settle for a bunch of exercises thrown up on a wall.
Get strong and mobile, train specifically and develop an understanding of what you need to be doing in certain parts of the season
